John Marvin Field's Obituary
John M. Field, age 67, passed away on June 24, 2024 after a 6 year battle with cancer. John was born on February 2, 1957 in Muskegon, MI to Carroll and Marvin Field.
John spent his life in the automotive industry doing everything from car washing to Service Writer. John had a passion for CB/Ham radio. Other hobbies included slot cars, train sets, and model cars. He loved to travel with his wife and family.
John is survived by his wife, Lori Field, of White Cloud; step-son, Thomas Jones of White Cloud; step-daughter, Melanie (James) Morse of Norton Shores; daughters, Katie (Brian) Wemple of Newaygo County and Jessica (Paul) Urban of Buffalo, New York; sister, Gretchen (James) Lacy of Rothbury; a very special young man who is like a grandson, AJ Knash of Grant, Mi; special friend, Gladys Bigford of Muskegon; and several other grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides; his father, Marvin Field; his mother, Carroll (Stoppels) Field; his sister, Ruth Field; and his step-son, William Jones.
There will be a Celebration of John's Life in his sister’s back yard on July 13, 2024 at 8210 Oceana Dr. Rothbury, MI. from 11:00AM - 4:00 PM.
