Mr. John William George's Obituary
Mr. John William George, age 74, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. John was born in Muskegon on September 25, 1942 to Harry N. and Jeanette C. (Dornbos) George. John served his country in the United States Air Force from 1961 until 1982. John married the former Wonsun Kang on October 2, 1978, in Seoul, South Korea, and she survives him. He was a member of the Fruitport Eagles and VFW Post #3195. John is survived by several cousins and was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 3-5pm at the Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Johnson Family Cancer Center.
