John David Holderman's Obituary
Mr. John David Holderman, age 52, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022. He was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania to Alton and Jean (Inhoof) Holderman. John was a 10-year veteran of the United States Navy and served in Operation Desert Storm. For the past 24 years, John was employed by Frontier Communications as a Network Engineer Specialist. John was a member of the Mona Lake Boat Club, Skeetown Jeep Club, White Lake Eagles, and the Don Rea VFW Post #8846. Whether John was on his boat, trail riding in his Jeep, or hosting a cookout, he enjoyed having a good time with his family and friends. Most importantly, John loved his family and especially enjoyed supporting his children in their many activities. On August 12, 1997, John married the former Cyndi Robinson in Virginia and she survives him along with their two children, Zane Holderman and Breann Holderman; brothers, Bob (Linda) Holderman and Tim (Debby) Holderman; sister, Lisa (Bryon Reavis) Askew; parents-in-law, Bill and Linda Gerling; and nieces and nephews, Jessica Askew, Sarah Askew, Matt Holderman, Jordan Holderman, Sean Pfister, Jennifer VonGunden, and Julie Pfister. John was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, David Askew. A CELEBRATION OF JOHN’S LIFE will be held 3:00 PM Monday, April 18, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with VISITATION one hour prior to his service.
