John Thomas Johnson's Obituary
John Thomas Johnson, age 61, died unexpectedly at his home Friday, July 12, 2019. John was born October 12, 1957 to Clarence T. and Carole (Watson) Johnson in Wyandotte, MI. He served in the US Navy and on May 11, 2017 he married Stacy Jo Boutell. John was employed as a draftsman and electrical engineer at Brunswick for 23 years before becoming disabled in 2001. John had an artistic soul, enjoying woodworking, writing poetry, and listening to music. He adored his grandchildren and will be missed by all his family including his children, Cali (Michael Willis) Johnson, William (Alexandra Stone) Watkins, Ashley Watkins, Kelsea Smith and Christopher Smith; his grandchildren, Brayden Hinkle, Shawn Watkins, Terry and Parker Smith; his mother, Carole Johnson; his sisters, Kimberly (Fred) Landry and Teresa (Donald) Johnson-Baksa. John was preceded in death by his father. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at PJ Hoffmaster State Park, 6585 Lake Harbor Rd., Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 1-4 pm.
