John J. Lepore Jr.'s Obituary
John J. Lepore Jr., age 67, met his Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He was born on March 19, 1954, to John and Audrey (Thompson) Lepore Sr in Peekskill, NY. John had a passion for building and construction and dedicated many years working as a self-employed contractor. On July 7, 1973, he married the love of his life, the former Patricia “Pat” Higgins in Peekskill, NY. Together they cherished 48 years full of love, laughter and lots of adventure. John was known to be a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. John also continued with his passion and was always tinkering with new projects. He was the man to go to if you ever needed anything done. Above all things, John loved his family and spending time with them. He will always be remembered for his generosity and heart of gold. His flirtatious and old school personality will truly be missed by many. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia “Pat” Lepore; 4 children, Jennifer Lepore, John Lepore III, Anthony Lepore, and Joseph Lepore; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Diane Higgins and Mary Rose Matthews; 2 brothers, Jim Lepore and Tom Lepore. He is welcomed into heaven by his parents John and Audrey Lepore. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
