John L. McDonald's Obituary
John L. McDonald, age 84, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was born on October 14, 1939, to Ray and Julia (Verschuren) McDonald in Hart, MI. He graduated from Walkerville High School class of 1957. He dedicated numerous years working for various companies as a truck driver. In his earlier years, he was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very knowledgeable and took pride in the lavish garden he maintained. John also loved spending time at the racetrack, where he got to watch his son race. He will truly be missed. He is survived by his two children, Theresa (Rob) Seaberg and John (Amanda) McDonald Sr.; three grandchildren, Colby, Morgan and John Jr.; brother, Leonard (Greta) McDonald; numerous nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life for John will be held 12-4 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Fruitport Eagles (3354 S. Dangl Road, Muskegon 49444).
