Mr. John J. Nemeth's Obituary
Mr. John J. Nemeth, age 66, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, June 28, 2013. He was born August 29, 1946 in Grand Haven to John and Mary (Czuk) Nemeth. John worked for the Grand Haven Public Schools for 20 years before retiring. During his retirement he worked part-time for Betten Chevrolet. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, the Polish Union, was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to cook. SURVIVORS include his wife, Sue Ann Nemeth of Benton Harbor; 2 children, John E. Nemeth of Cutlerville, MI, Stacey (DeWayne Holtrop) Nemeth-Pertner of Roosevelt Park; grandson, John W. Pertner; 2 sisters, Joan Chittenden, Judy (Howard) Kleeves both of Grand Haven; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, MaryAnne Fett. A CELEBRATION OF JOHN’S LIFE will take place 11:00 AM Saturday, July 13, 2013 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100,with Rev. John H. Brown officiating.
