John Christian Schrier, age 88, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center. He was born July 23, 1933 in Muskegon, MI to Chris and Ida (Trap) Schrier. He graduated from Muskegon High School in 19 Read Obituary

I was sad to hear about John's passing today. My deepest sympathy to the whole family. John was a very warm and generous man. He also loved to tell a joke and enjoy life. I will never forget how welcoming he was when I came to your home to visit. He will be missed.

Although I didn't know John Schrier personally, he made the biggest impact on my son's life by granting him a scholarship to Hope College. Because of the generosity of this man and his family, my son was able to attend Hope College. He is now a Physicians Assistant giving back to the Muskegon Community.
John took the time out of his schedule to have lunch with my son and check up on him while he was attending college and even took the time to call our house and ask about him throughout the years.
He will forever be remembered by our family. Our sincere condolences to the Schrier Family.
