Mr. John T. Sidock's Obituary
John “Budge” T. Sidock, age 85 passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at his home. He was born on May 31, 1931 to John A. and Lucille (Johnson) Sidock in Muskegon. On December 17, 1949, he married the love of his life, the former Barbara Jean Carpenter. John worked faithfully for 49 years for S.D. Warren papermill until his retirement in 1992. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Cheryl (Darrell) Priese, John Sidock, Jack (Suzi) Sidock, Jim (Angela) Sidock, Jerry (Sue) Sidock; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley (Caroline) Sidock; sister, Shirley Sidock; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Betty, Pearl, Emily, Joe; and daughter-in-law, Deborah Sidock. A SCRIPTURE SERVICE for John will take place on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Marian Chapel of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2929 McCracken St.) at 7:00 PM. A FUNERAL MASS will take place on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Marian Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name can be made to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
