Mr. John D. Streeter's Obituary
Mr. John Dewey Streeter age 79, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 27, 2016. John was born January 17, 1937 to David and Alma (Robeson) Streeter in Romeo, MI. On May 10, 1958, he married the former Mary Jane Dupont. He was a veteran of the US Army and was employed as a sales executive at Textron for 35 years retiring in 1994. John was a man of God. He was a member of Forest Park Covenant Church where he sang in the choir and participated in small group study. John was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a wonderful and generous family man who was ever-present at all the grandchildren’s sporting events. John will be greatly missed by Mary Jane, his wife of 58 years; his children, Gay (Brian) Landstrom of N. Muskegon and John Mark (Kimberly Ann) Streeter of Almont, MI; beloved grandchildren, Noah Colin Landstrom, Sarah Megan Landstrom, Hannah Grace Landstrom, Andrew “Drew” John (Kera) Streeter and Timothy John (Sydney Romine) Streeter; great-grandchildren, Adelynn Christine and Bo Bradford Streeter; brothers, Dr. David Robeson (Sue) Streeter and Thomas Edward (Elly) Streeter; sister, Carol Ruth (Frederick) Streeter Wagner; foster sister, Mary Talladay; and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Allan Wallace Streeter. PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES will be held. Burial will take place in McCafferty Cemetery, Romeo, MI.
