So sorry to hear of John’s passing…what a great guy…so lucky to have known him…he touched so many lives…Mark & Diane
John knew me as Magen Locke. I am now married as Magen Weemes. I remember playing at all the houses they lived in. Because I am a very longtime friend of Autumn. I always remember him being so kind and down to earth. I remember siamese cats, pugs and a Rottweiler. Not sure they had all of those at the same time or not. I remember him telling me about the movie dancing with wolves. I always admired his beautiful fun loving marriage with Penny.and your awesome presence as a dad. You will be missed. No matter how much time goes by. Your family has always been in my thoughts. And I cherish the memories.
Dear Penny and family. I remember like yesterday when you two got together. Your life was changed completely. Your mom & Jerry were so happy. I'm glad you had 44 years. I had that long too with your cousin Craig, (your grandfather's were brothers on the Norwegian side), but Craig (Corky) passed in 2020. His brother Grant is still alive. (You liked the name!)...Sincere condolences. From Denice Aley Meyer.
Condolences sent to John's family from your family (2nd cousins) on Texas. Before we moved to Texas, my family's spent a lot of time with John's mom, grandparents and siblings. I have a lot of fond memories from those days. Love Rhonda Slezak Smith
Dear family,
. John and I knew each other in high school and he was a good friend. We reconnected when we were both teachers and I was so happy for him when he became an administrator. He was truly a good person and I’m so sorry for your loss.

To the family, I am deeply sorry for your loss my condolences and deepest sympathy to each of you. When God created John the mold appeared to be broken there will never be another like him. His compassion, dedication and the love he had for people, education and his family was irreplaceable. John was truly loved by the staff at Wesley and I/we will miss him dearly.

Mr. Weaver you will never understand how you impacted my life as a child. I know I was a little troubled maker but sometimes I would get into trouble just to come visit. I will never forget the time you dressed up as Abraham Lincoln I always thought you looked identical to him. And then the time where you had to swim across Bear Lake.. you were one of a kind. RIP
Penny and family~ so sorry for your loss❤️🙏
