John Winegar's Obituary
Mr. John E. Winegar, age 69, passed away Saturday evening, March 5, 2005. He was born June 12, 1935 to Charles and Hazel (Callaway) Winegar in Hannibal, MO, and lived in Grand Rapids for several years before moving to the Muskegon area in 1976. He worked for the F.A.A. for 30 years before retiring, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. On July 3, 1958 he married Arlene Pleger in Redwood City, CA, and she survives him along with 3 sons, Rodney (Leonora) Winegar, Thomas (Kim) Winegar, John (Lissa) Winegar, all of Norton Shores; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Bill Winegar of Coopersville; 3 sisters, Mary (Silvio) Costanzo of CA, Helen (Richard) Smith of NV, Carolyn (Robert) Dauma of MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Paul Winegar; 1 sister, Louise Smith. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at
The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.,1547 W. Sherman Blvd.,(231) 759-8565 with Rev. Clifford Lones officiating. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery.
