I have special memories from the time Carol and John started dating. He told me that she met every one of the criteria he had asked God for when he was praying for a new wife. I think he loved her from the time they had their first conversation, which lasted 3 hours. They were introduced through their hair dresser. He loved my sister dearly and they had a very happy marriage. He was a wonderful brother-in-law and he will be missed by family and friends. But I know he is at peace with our Savior, and as 1 Corinthians 2:9 states so beautifully: “Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, all that God has prepared for them that love Him.” I imagine his joy at seeing Jesus face to face, and to see his family and friends who preceded him there. May God give peace and comfort to the family. As Christians, we look forward to being united in heaven. A grand reunion awaits..
