Johnathan (Johnny) Seth Houseman, age 32, of Grand Haven, MI, passed away unexpectedly on 6/19/2023.
John was born on 07/06/1990 to Roger Houseman and Nancy Simboli in Norwich, Connecticut. John is preceded in death by his grand parents Robert Simboli, Roger Houseman Sr., Norma Houseman. And his beloved dog Khaleesi.
John had a deep love for his son Sage; his siblings – Derek Houseman 34, Abreil Lodes 29, Raquel Lodes 27, Brennen Houseman 23, and Corbin Houseman 19. And his family members Angela Houseman (stepmom) and long-term girlfriend Jade Mancilla. And Friends.
John loved competition and excelled in sports. He played soccer, in-line hockey, football, and wrestling. John became a top wrestler for Grand Haven High School placing 6th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st at High School Individual State Championships. John loved Grand Haven Wrestling and his time with James Richardson as his head coach. Some of his favorite things were coaching/helping youth wrestlers, hiking, fishing, and music.
John was a true adventurer, traveling extensively and living life to its fullest. He loved music festivals and his friends from all his life’s experiences.
John’s life goals were to become a certified electrician, live off the grid and build his own mothership house while improving the environment for enhanced sustainability.
