Johnathon Jacob "JJ" Terry's Obituary
Mr. Johnathon Jacob “JJ” Terry, age 23, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 18, 2022. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on August 17, 1999 to Daryl Terry and Deborah Bauder and graduated from Fruitport High School in 2017. JJ was employed by Blarney Castle Easy Mart in Nunica. On August 6, 2022, JJ married the love of his life, the former Stephanie Myers and together, along with his bonus daughter, Zoe, were living the happiest moments of their lives. JJ loved relationships, conversations, and meeting new people. He never missed an opportunity for adventure and traveled extensively. JJ was a WWE wrestling fanatic, enjoyed playing disc golf, loved eating and trying new restaurants, and enjoyed the Electric Forest Music Festival. He was brave, kind, courageous, smart, giving, a best friend to everyone, and had a smile that could light up any room. He was fiercely loyal to his family, especially to Stephanie and Zoe. JJ will be deeply missed by his wife, Stephanie; daughter, Zoe; parents, Deborah Bauder and Daryl Terry; grandparents, Robert and June Bauder; parents-in-law, Karen Frazier and Russell Blood; siblings, Staci (Chris) Westerhoff, Dawn Morningstar, Joshua (Karin) Walmer, Elizabeth (Ed Johnson) Alsteens, KK (Kevin) Walker, and Michelle (David) Mexico; sister-in-law, Danielle (Nate McGhan) Myers; and many loving nieces and nephews including his right hand man, Boogie. A FUNERAL SERVICE for JJ will be held 3:00 PM Friday, November 25, 2022 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to his service. A CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE will be held from 1-5 PM Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Muskegon Eagles, 621 W Western Ave, Muskegon, MI 49440.
