Mr Nelson, You were a very nice man to have a band teacher. You tought me how to play the stupid clarinet that I hated. You were very paitent with me since I had a hard time learning those notes. I wish I could be there with you to let you know how much Mr. Nelson meant to all of us who knew him.
I was a student of Mr. Nelson's at Ravenna. School work didn't always come easy for me because I had A.D.D.
Mr. Nelson was the one that always spent the extra time with me to make sure I "got it".
It was Mr. Nelson that made it possible for me to compete in sports by making sure that I got the help I needed to pass and remain eligible.
I am now in college and doing well in work and school. I shall always remember Mr. Nelson and how he helped to make my life better.

I am sorry to regret that i am not able to make it to either the visitation or the funeral due to my work schedule. I am so sorry to here about the passing of your father and of my mentor, friend, and bowling teammate.
