Hallye Ray…I just learned of Jack’s passing. I’m sorry I didn’t know sooner. Merle and I would like to extend our sympathies and we are keeping you and Jack in our prayers. I wish I had known him better. I was stationed at Ft. Eustis and was an aircraft maintenance officer. We would have had things in common. He must have been a terrific soldier and husband. Dear Jack,
In the short 8 years that we've known you, we have so many wonderful memories of you to cherish! We were talking about how you preferred to play the slots on the ship rather than slog around another Caribbean island, and your fondness for "just one" martini before dinner, your love of sweets and most importantly, your love and devotion to Hallye Ray and Mike and Joe, and all the family. We dearly miss you, but rejoice for you eternal joy. It has been an honor and a privilege to know you and call you friend.

Jack served with me with the 150th Trans Det.Vinh long,Vietnam 64-65,as crew chief of Roadrunner, he was a excellent pilot and a great officer,some of the things he taught me have stayed with me through out my civilian life,Jack you will be missed by all of us 150th guys.
