John G. "Jack" Lundborg's Obituary
Mr. John G. “Jack” Lundborg, age 81, died Sunday, November 23, 2003 in Muskegon. He was born on April 21, 1922 to Gustave & Cora (Arneberg) Lundborg, and had resided in the area for most of his life. Mr. Lundborg had worked at Teledyne Continental Motors for 461/2 years both in Muskegon and in Mobile, Alabama where he was the Production Central Manager for several years. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, where he served as Secretary of the church board, the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #274 and Lions Club. Mr. Lundborg was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II in Europe and in the United States. On April 19, 1960 he married the former Dorothy Race, and she preceded him in death on May 22, 1990. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Jackie (Anthony) Segers of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, Debra (Fred) Mansfield of Grant, Shelly (Tim) Kravako of Twin Lake, Karen (Lee) Schultz of Holton, Denise (Greg) Maynard of Twin Lake, Robin (Paul) Panozzo of Twin Lake, Mark (Anita) Olson of Jones, MI, and Amy Schotts of Twin Lake; 17 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. Mr. Lundborg was also preceded in death by his twin brother, and two sisters. SERVICES will be 3 PM Wednesday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (1655 Norton Ave.) with Rev. John Grostic officiating.
