Sixteen years ago, I was blessed to find a life long best friend in Sarah, and have the opportunity to become close with her amazing family. John provided us with countless memories that have remained near and dear to my heart. He was the ultimate dad which i got to experience whenever i went over to their house. For Sarah and I he created treasure hunts, hand delivered buttery popcorn and banana milkshakes to us so we would never miss a minute of our movie during a sleepover, let us ride on the back of the Fountain, take us on trips, and play with us... to name a few things. I'll never forget the time I told him about the date who stood me up.. John threatened to kick his butt and then offered to be my date to dinner instead :). He was an amazing man, an incredibly loving father to Sarah and the rest of his children, a proud and adoring grandpa, a wonderful husband to Debi, and a friend to so many. I will never forget his kindness, his generousity, his sense of humor, or his warm personality. My heart continues to go out to Debi, Sarah, Dena, John, Angie and Amy and the rest of the Bultema family. The strength, love, and support you have given each other during this difficult time is incredible and something I'm sure John would be proud of.
