John H. "Jack" Dennis' Obituary
Mr. John Henry “Jack” Dennis, age 83, formerly of Muskegon, passed away in Lindsay, CA, on Sunday, March 4, 2007. A native of Wolf Lake, MI, he had lived in Porterville, CA, for the past 13 years. He was a retired Tool Grinder for Teledyne Continental Motors for over 32 years. A veteran of the United States Army, he served in the European Theatre during World War II. He was a member of the Moorland Community Church in Moorland Township, MI, the Lincoln Golf Club in Muskegon, and the Exeter Golf Course in Exeter, CA. An avid golfer, he had scored 11 holes in one. He is survived by his sons and daughters, John L. Dennis of Harrison, AR, David Dennis and Paul Dennis, both of Tulare, CA, Linda Dennis of Harrison, AR, Gwen Dennis of Lindsay, CA, and Ruth Dennis of Midland, TX. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 12, 2007 at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210, with Dr. David Beighley officiating.
