John Joseph Ferencsik's Obituary
John J. Ferencsik, Jr., age 93, passed away in Muskegon, Wednesday, July 13, 2011 following a long illness. He was born in Toledo, OH on August 24, 1917 to John and Helen (Olah) Ferencsik. The family moved to Muskegon when John was an infant. He married the former Esther May LeRoux in Muskegon on December 17, 1938 and she preceded him in death on April 16, 2010. John was employed at the George Morrell Co. until his retirement in 1973 and was a former member of the Muskegon Eagles, the Hungarian Hall and the Mona Lake Boating Club. John is survived by: three daughters, Barbara Cunningham of Fruitport, Bobbie Ferencsik of Long Beach, CA and Paula (Jim) Hoover of Lexington, KY; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson; one brother, James Ferencsik; and sister, Betty Berger. John was also preceded in death by his, brother, Joe and sister, Margaret Schillaci.
