Johnny C. Moore's Obituary
Mr. Johnny C. “Barney” Moore, age 61, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007. He was born February 8, 1946 to Elijah and Virginia Moore in Columbus, MS. He attended Muskegon Public Schools and Trinidad Junior College in Colorado. Johnny was employed by Consumers Energy in 1977, where he served as recording secretary for UWUA Local 103 for 3 years.; retiring in 2004. He loved his family, friends, fishing, reading and watching television. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 31 years, the former Glenda Keeton. She survives him along with 3 children, Anthony (Lisa) Randel el, Tiffany (Jesse) Tornes and Kristen Moore; 9 grandchildren, Kameron, Najeah & Brooklynn Tornes, Tyler & Jaxon Roberts, LaTosha (Chris) Daniels, Turlaine & Antwon Randle el and Randy McDaniels; 3 great-grandchildren; his father, Elijah Moore of Columbus, MS; his mother, Virginia Moore of Muskegon; sister, Sharon Moore-Blake and special uncle, Jessie Jones of Muskegon. Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother, Sam Moore. The family would like to give a special acknowledgement to the staff of Harbor Hospice – Poppen Residence.
