John was unique in many ways. He was the coolest guy I ever met. Loved him so much not only as a boss but a friend. He helped me out so many times just by talking and sometimes crying in his office. Ever since he left the college it was never quite the same, for me anyway. I am sorry I just found out about his passing and missed visitation.
