Jon reached out to offer New Orleans drug users expired naloxone. When I sent him my address we bonded because when he loved in New Orleans, it was mere blocks away. Every time he came to visit his brother for holidays and Jazzfest, he brought us more. Countless lives were saved thanks to his generosity. We met in person for the first time at the National Harm Reduction Conference in San Diego and it was immediately apparent we were kindred spirits. I'm so sad our shared time in New Orleans was cut short. May his memory be a blessing <3

Jon was my Volunteer Coordinator at The Grand Rapids Red Project. He was knowledgeable and kind and helped me find purpose at a challenging time. He treated me like I had value.
