Jonathon Earl Ronning's Obituary
Mr. Jonathon Earl Ronning, age 35, passed away Monday evening, June 14, 2010, at a local hospital. Jonathon was born July 7, 1974 in Muskegon to Richard and Kathleen (Edwards) Ronning. He had worked as a paint mixer for several years at IVC in Grand Haven prior to his illness. Jonathon enjoyed all outdoor activities, including fishing. He also loved spending time with his daughter and the rest of his family and following the Detroit Red Wings and Lions. Jonathon is survived by his daughter, Krista Ronning of Muskegon; parents, Richard (Debbie) Ronning and Kathi (Henry) Braspenning; grandparents, Russell (Edith) Ronning and Evan (Judy) Shook; 2 brothers, David (Paulette) Ronning and Mathew (Raquel) Ronning, all of Muskegon; a sister, Sara (Dale) Henshaw of Spring Lake; 5 step siblings, Heather (Kevin) Henderson, Jason McPherson, Crystal Hibbs, Amanda Braspenning, and Steven Braspenning; step mom, Sue Ronning; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Brenda Ronning. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Friday, June 18, 2010 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Shane Prewitt officiating. VISITATION will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Interment will be in Twin Lake Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Krista’s educational fund.
