Mr. Joseph M. Gauthier III's Obituary
Mr. Joseph M Gauthier III, age 65, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence, surrounded by family and friends. Joseph was born March 14, 1951 to Joseph and Delores (Bon) Gauthier II in El Paso, Texas, and raised by his step father, Albert Mikolich. On January 30, 1971, Joe married the former Deborah Doxtater in Muskegon and she survives him. He was employed at Quality Tool for more than 16 years prior to his retirement in 2012. Joe loved bluegill fishing and hunting with his family and friends. He was very generous and kind; a family man, and part of a close knit family. In addition to his wife Debbie, Joe is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Todd) VanDonkelaar and Julie (Chris) French; 4 grandchildren, Brooke and Autumn VanDonkelaar, and Zachary and Kayanna French; a brother, Gilbert (Debra) Gauthier; and several nieces and nephews. He was a preceded in death by a sister, Debra Puckett. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 13, 2016, at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Pastor Ed Cohea officiating. VISITATION will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday (10-11 AM). MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
