Mr. Joseph J. Partenio's Obituary
Mr. Joseph J. Partenio, age 75, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at a local nursing home. He was born June 3, 1938 to Pietro and Ada (Lenardon) Partenio in Grand Blanc, MI. Joseph worked as a clerk at Hamady Brothers Grocery Store in Flint for many years prior to his retirement. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers on TV. He attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc. Joseph is survived by his brother, John (Elaine) Partenio of Spring Lake; his sister, Arvilla (Gerald) Atkinson of Maryland; brother-in-law, Sam Smith of Grand Blanc; and thirteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joanne Smith. A MEMORIAL MASS will be held at Holy Family Church in the spring.
