Joseph "JoeJoe" Conrad Spaniolo's Obituary
Joseph “JoeJoe” Conrad Spaniolo, age 39, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on October 10, 1981 to Joe and Kathy (Filonow) Spaniolo. JoeJoe attended Fruitport Schools and graduated from Mona Shores High School. He worked for UPS for 21 years. JoeJoe was full of piss and vinegar. If you knew him, you loved him. It didn’t matter where you went, he always knew someone. He had a passion for hockey ever since he was a kid, starting with playing for chiefs and continued on leagues as an adult. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends. But the most important thing to him was his kids. He is survived by his fiancée, Ashley Moran; his children, Julia and Conrad; his parents; his brother, Robert Spaniolo; aunts and uncles, Roberta Williams, Pete (Karen) Spaniolo, Terri Jourden, Sandy (Robert) Oleson, Marilyn (Jack) Pitcher, and (Brooks) Filonow; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Julia Spaniolo, and Nick and Tekla Filonow; aunt (Carol) Spaniolo; uncles (Don Williams) and Nick J. Filonow; and cousin, Anthony Jourden. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Spectrum Hospice (www.spectrumhealth.org/hospice), or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org), or Hands of Hope – a new CHCWM (Cancer & Hematology Centers of Western Michigan) non-profit organization to help blood cancer patients in the Western Michigan Area.
