Joseph Gust Wedholm's Obituary
Mr. Joseph Gust Wedholm, age 72, passed away at home in Grand Haven, Michigan, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, October 4, 2025. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 10, 1953 to Arnold and Stella (Farber) Wedholm. Joe graduated from Muskegon Community College with an associate degree in Tool and Die Technology. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, he served honorably for over three years during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Joe dedicated 25 years of his career to Michigan Plastics before retiring. An avid outdoorsman, Joe found great joy in hunting, fishing, and camping. He also had a passion for drag racing and was a longtime member of the Grand Haven Eagles. On December 11, 1976, Joe married the former Debra Sue Emmons in Holland, Michigan and she survives him along with their four daughters, Sabrina (Adam) Frank of Grand Haven, Casey (Stephen) Wedholm-Mullins of Twin Lake, Stacey Green of Murfreesboro, TN, and Carey Morris of Hopkins; 11 grandchildren, Alexis Morris, Katelyn (Brandonlee) Epplett, Johnathan Mullins, Cheyenne (Christian) Luttrull, Matthew (Jennifer) Ray, Autumn Ray, Hunter (Jade) Wellman, Mackenzie (Harrison) Morris-Prater, KC (Brandon) Goins, Abby Frank, and Ryley Frank; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyus (Frank) Bisacky of Spring Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Frank Curtis, Otto Curtis, and Virginia Smedley. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Joe’s Life will be announced at a later date.
