Joseph Casmer Petrick's Obituary
Mr. Joseph C. Petrick, age 93, passed away July 18, 2007, following a long illness. He was born January 18, 1914 in the Ukraine to Peter and Anna Petrick and came to Muskegon at the age of 8 years old. He married the former Margaret A. Svoboda in Muskegon Heights on August 10, 1935. Mr. Petrick was a former member of St. Catherine’s Church in Ravenna and the Moose Lodge. He was employed at Teledyne Continental Motors until retiring in 1972. SURVIVORS: his wife, Margaret; 1 son, Robert J. Petrick of Fruitport; 2 daughters, Betty J. (Richard) Mitchell of Sarasota, FL and Doris M. (Randy) McCourt of Pleasant Hill, OR; 1 sister, Virginia (Richard) Engle of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry M. Petrick on August 16, 1978 and 3 brothers, Walter, Michael and Peter. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Monday 11 A.M. at The Lee Chapel with Fr. John F. Porter presiding. Friends may meet with the family beginning one hour prior to the service. INTERMENT: St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS: VNS Hospice.
