Joseph Charles Sika's Obituary
Mr. Joseph Charles Sika, age 45, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 as the result of an auto accident. Joe was born December 18, 1964 in Muskegon to Joseph V. “Buddy” and Carlotta (Schecter) Sika. Joe was a 1983 Reeths Puffer High School graduate. He moved to Florida where he served as manager of Johnson Motors Chrysler Dealership. Joe moved back to the area in 1995 and was involved, until recently, in the used car business. He was presently employed at ABC Warehouse. He enjoyed motorcycles, the outdoors and fishing. Most of all, Joe loved spending time with his twin sons, Joe and Steven, and watching their sporting events. Joe is SURVIVED by his sons, Joseph Jacob Sika and Steven Michael Sika; mother and stepfather, Carlotta and George Hutch of N. Muskegon; sister, Shelley (Tony) Palmer of Grand Haven; the mother of his sons, Brenda (Stanley) Ketchum of Montague; stepsister, Barbara (John) Cubic of Atlanta, GA; stepbrother, Bill (Stefanie) Huch of Spring Lake; aunts, uncles, niece, Leah Palmer of Grand Haven; and many step-nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph “Buddy” Sika; grandparents, Joseph and Marie Sika, and Charles and Evelyn Schecter. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00AM Monday, October 4, 2010 at
