Mrs. Josephine "Jo" Peliotes' Obituary
Mrs. Josephine “Jo” Peliotes, age 81, passed away Friday morning, March 14, 2014 at her home. She was born May 26, 1932 to Raymond and Josephine (Ciezak) Buhr in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. She had worked at GTE, and later Muskegon Radiology before retiring. She was also a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Mrs. Peliotes loved to feed the birds, and she loved her Chow-Chow, Caesar. She was a loving mother who would do anything for her family, and she will be greatly missed. On June 28, 1952 she married Paul T. Peliotes, and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2012. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Paul M. Peliotes of Muskegon, Sheila-Raye Gillard-Connelly of Norton Shores, Joanne (Tony) Chandonnet of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Vanessa Peliotes, Dr. Paul James (Erica) Gillard, Audrey Lynn Tufts; 2 great-grandchildren, Aiden and Claire. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 21, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442, (231) 726-5210.
