Joseph L., Sr. Hulett's Obituary
Mr. Joseph L. Hulett, Sr., age 74 passed away early Monday morning following a long illness. He was born in Paradise Twp. on March 21, 1934 to Arthur and Hazel (Sheren) Hulett. He moved to Muskegon in 1953 and married the former Shirley Moore on September 11, 1954. Joe retired from Continental Motors in 1974 and also worked for Westfield-Sommers of Fremont. He was a former volunteer on the Lakewood Club Fire Department and was a member of the Lakewood Club Civic Builders Association. Joe is survived by his: wife, Shirley; daughter, Shari (Paul) George; four sons, Joseph Hulett Jr., Jeffery Hulett Sr., Stefan (Lynn) Hulett and Stacy Hulett; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by: son, Donald; granddaughter, Kristi; two brothers Russell and Reo Hulett, Sr. and his sister, Marie Days. A memorial service will be held at: Shiloh Tabernacle Church of God, 460 E. Tyler Rd, 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 4, 2008, Pastor Verne Wright officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution to the family will be appreciated.
