Joe, or Joey as I always called him, was my favorite fifth grade student, because that was the year he learned to love to read. Joey and I would try to find a book that looked like an older harder to read book, but was one that he could read. I was fortunate enough to be able to see him blossom in just a short time to where I could tell he was really enjoying what he was reading. For me, Joey will always be that little fifth grader with the innocent face that grew to love those mysteries.##imported-begin##Mary Ann (Harris) Farnquist##imported-end##
