Joseph Paul Paquin Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Joseph Paul Paquin, Sr., age 58, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 16, 2010. Joe was born December 31, 1951 to Thomas Victor and Lorraine (Lipps) Paquin. Joe served his country in the National Guard during the Vietnam War. He had worked for Trophy House for many years as a screen printer. Joseph was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and had a strong faith. He loved summers, the beach, and was passionate about music and playing guitar. An avid sports fan, Joe enjoyed the Lions, Tigers, and Pistons. “Poppy” loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Joe was liked by everyone and was a friend to all. He is survived by his 2 children, Joseph Paul (Mandy) Paquin II and Sarah (Tom) Habetler; former wife and best friend, Lynn Riley Paquin, all of Norton Shores; 7 grandchildren, Vega, Mazy, Melody, Joseph III, Thomas (T.J.), Isaac and Eli; 2 brothers, John (Sue) Paquin and Steve (Diana) Paquin; 3 sisters, Linda (Brian) Eurich-Murphy, Jane Curran, and Mary Paquin-Kerbuski; sister-in-law, Sue Paquin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Thomas. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2929 McCracken Ave.) VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (10-11 AM) at the church.
