Joshua William Stimers' Obituary
Joshua William Stimers, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was born August 23, 1977 in Muskegon to Tim and Sandy (Jannenga) Stimers. Josh was a skilled woodworker and crafter and co-owned Repurposefullness Custom Made and Upcycled Furniture in Muskegon. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family, especially the love of his life Victoria Ashburn and her children Kassandra Tart, Gage Vandenbosch and Sophia Nunez. Survivors include parents Tim and Sandy Stimers; girlfriend Victoria Ashburn, and her children, Kassandra, Gage and Sophia; daughter Kayla Grace Stimers and step-son Billy Brimfield; sister Katie Lopez, nephews Lucca & Asher; grandparents, Marlene “Nonnie” Jannenga, Douglas and Betty Stimers; many aunts and uncles including Lynn (John Wiggens) Schalk, Dan (Renee) Jannenga, Ruth (Roger) Fortier, Paul (Marie) Stimers, Tom Schalk, Mary Stimers, Al (Sue) Koeller; special friends, Uncle Jim and Aunt Chris Sliter; and several cousins. Josh was preceded in death by Grandma Elenor June Stimers and Grandpa Bill Jannenga; Uncle Jim Jannenga; and Aunt Lynda Koeller. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 29, 2018 at Calvary Church (1070 Quarterline Rd.) with Rev. Keith Sandison and Dr. Bill Rudd officiating. VISITATION will be held one hour prior, 12-1pm Monday at the church. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to Calvary Church Elevator Fund.
