Mr. Joshua Paul Tallent's Obituary
Mr. Joshua Paul Tallent, age 29, passed away July 23, 2015 at his home. Josh was born September 29, 1985 to James and Monica (Fecher) Tallent in Washington D.C. He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in food safety and toxicology. Joshua was a member of St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church in Ada, MI. He was last employed as a quality assurance supervisor for Cargill Kitchen Solutions. Family was really important to Joshua along with his belief in God and the Catholic Church. He had a truly giving spirit and was always ready to help others; especially family. He was intuitive and empathetic with a great love for God’s people. He was a great problem solver with excellent imagination and skills. Josh loved music, playing the drums, and jamming with his brothers. He will be greatly missed. On September 21, 2007 he married the former Megan R. Cromie and she survives him along with their son, Isaac Jonathan Tallent; his parents, James and Monica Tallent; brothers, Nehemiah (Kelly) of Newport News, VA, Nathaniel of Blanchard, MI, Nicholas (Mallory) of Bath, MI, Joseph (Christi) of Woodbridge, VA, Jacob of Norton Shores and Gabriel Tallent of Ann Arbor; sisters, Elizabeth (Tony) Rance and Emilia Tallent, all of Norton Shores; father and mother-in-law, James Robert and Leslie Jean Catherwood; sister-in-law, Keara (Rick) Ruel; and best friends, Mike and Viola Pieprzyk. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11:00 AM Wednesday July 29, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (150 E. Summit Ave.) with Rev. Fr. Len Sudlik of Ada presiding and Rev. Fr. Mark Bentz and Rev. Fr. Antony Britto concelebrating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION with Joshua’s family will be 5-8 PM Tuesday at The Lee Chapel, 6201 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with rosary and prayers at 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Isaac’s college education fund c/o Fifth Third Bank
