Josie Frances Botello's Obituary
Ms. Josie F. Botello, age 28, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. She was born in Muskegon on December 1, 1985. Josie had been employed at Tudor Catering and was a member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. She enjoyed tubing, pow-wow ceremonies, especially when her son played drums and liked singing karaoke. She is survived by her 3 children: Drake, Ashton and Cassina Potter; her mother, Tammy Palmer; her father, Gilbert (Tina Huntley) Botello; 2 step-sons, Blazze and Taz Potter; brothers, Michael Botello, Eric Botello and Jessie Rollins; her sister, Cassina Marie Botello; grandparents, Carlos and Frances Martinez; step-mother, Mary Botello; step-father, Joseph Palmer; 1 niece, Emma Jo Rollins; and her very special friend, Adam LaBelle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jedidiah “Jedi” Pikaart on February 10, 2012. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 with Deb Gutowski officiating at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. VISITATION will be Monday 6-8 p.m. MEMORIAL contributions for her children will be appreciated.
