Joyce Y. Borgman's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Y. Borgman, 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, July 24, 2024. She was born September 8, 1949, to George T. and Elma “Ole” (Zellar) Ferguson in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. Joyce was employed as a cosmetologist for over 50 years, working at The Creative Edge for 33 years and then at Pompa Do’s. She was also involved with the “Look Good- Feel Better” group for over 30 years. She was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. On August 24, 1968, Joyce married Vern Borgman, and he survives her along with two children: Bradley (Juli) Borgman, Jene’ (Jason) Grimm; five grandchildren: Jamison, Brennan, Jeremiah, and Brylee Borgman, Bradey Grimm; three siblings: Darlene Smith. Dyana (Michael) Gronback, Dale (Lou) Ferguson; and her mother Elma “Ole” Ferguson. The funeral service for Joyce will be held Monday, July 29, at 11:00 am at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, from 5-8 PM, and also one hour prior to the service Monday. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Borgman may be made to The Leila and Cyrus Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice.
