Joyce A. Dalrymple's Obituary
Joyce Arlene Dalrymple, age 86, passed away on March 4, 2016 at a local nursing home. She was born on October 7, 1929 to Murray and Dorothy (Alderink) Hill in Holland, MI. She was a member of Fruitport Congregational U.C.C. Joyce graduated from Hackley School of Nursing and was truly a proud registered nurse working her way up to management. In her free time she enjoyed being with her family, gardening and socializing with friends. She married Robert J. Dalrymple and he preceded her in death in 1993. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Robert J. Dalrymple Jr. and John A. (Sue) Dalrymple; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Kenneth Hill, Danny (Sheila) Hill, Roger Hill and Alan (Carol) Hill. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Hill; and 2 sisters, JoAnn Hill and Diane Tervee. THE FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 12 noon Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Fruitport Congregational U.C.C. (9 S. Eighth St.) with Rev. Kenneth S. Babcock officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will take place at Fruitport Cemetery. Memorials can be directed to the Lions Club or the American Heart Association.
