Joyce M. Kuhn's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce M. Kuhn, age 92, passed away in Muskegon, Michigan on Saturday, November 15, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 24, 1933 to Theodore and Grace (Page) Collins. Joyce married the love of her life, Robert H. Kuhn, on April 21, 1950 and they enjoyed 69 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2019. Joyce and Robert raised their family in Oak Valley, New Jersey. They were able to retire early and move to Pueblo West, Colorado where they spent 30 wonderful years. After Robert passed away, Joyce moved to North Muskegon, Michigan to be near her daughter, Lynda. Joyce attended First Lutheran Church. She had a life-long love for horses and eating sweets, especially ice cream. She took great pride in raising her children and keeping a clean and tidy home. In recent years, Joyce enjoyed coloring Kids Food Basket bags for local children and attending Hymn Sing-alongs at The Village at Park Terrace. She is survived by six children, Gary (Jackie) Kuhn, Lynda Ferry, Kelly Baker, Nancy (Troy) Essner, Jeff (Jackie) Kuhn and David (Patti) Kuhn; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bert Blundin; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Kuhn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Donna Kuhn; and two sons-in-law, Bob Ferry and Tom Alspach. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2025 at First Lutheran Church, 1206 Whitehall Road, Muskegon, MI 49445. In honor of Joyce’s love for sweets, an ice cream social will immediately follow her service. MEMORIALS in memory of Joyce may be directed to The Harbor Hospice Foundation.
