Joyce M Stevens' Obituary
Joyce M. Stevens, age 81, died Saturday afternoon, November 30, 2013, in Muskegon. She was a life resident of Muskegon, born May 30, 1932 to Joseph and Clara (Knoll) Stevens. She had been employed as a nurse’s aide at Hackley Hospital; and was a member of the former First Reformed Church. Joyce enjoyed the Christmas Season, reading and doing puzzles. SURVIVORS include her daughter, Caron (James) Tierman of Muskegon; 1 sister, Nellie Luhman of Muskegon; 3 sisters-in-law, Marian Stevens of Allendale, Lois Stevens of Muskegon and Norma Stevens of Florida; and by several nieces and nephews among whom are special nieces, Marsha (Ron) Marek, Lyn Luhman and Sue (Scott) Luhman-Plough. Joyce was preceded in death by 3 brothers, James, Bert and Harris Stevens and by her brother-in-law, Bill Luhman. PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES will be held with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. For a more lasting Memorial you are asked to consider the Patient Activity Fund of Brookhaven Medical Care.
