Joyce Jean Dorris' Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Jean (Schmoker) Dorris, age 73, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Dorris was born September 18, 1933 to Ernest and Hilda (Stanke) Schmoker in Paterson, NJ. On June 24, 1956 she married John A. Dorris and they moved to the Muskegon area in 1964. She was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. Her SURVIVORS include her husband, John; 3 sons, Paul Dorris of Norfolk, VA, John (Sarah) Dorris of Nashville, TN and Bryan Dorris of Muskegon; 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and brother, Kenneth (Norma) Schmoker of Paterson, NJ. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 11, 2007 at Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 973 W. Norton Ave., with Rev. John Rop officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvin Christian Reformed Church.
