Joyce L. Bush's Obituary
Joyce Leona Bush, age 78, of Grand Haven went home to her Lord Sunday, September 9, 2007.
She was born July 21, 1929, to Harry and Henrietta Wassenaar in Holland, MI, and she married Henry Bush on April 22, 1949, in Coopersville, MI.
Mrs. Bush was a faithful member of Second Reformed Church, where she continued to serve her Lord diligently with her never-ending acts of kindness and her willingness to help wherever she was needed. She resided at Christian Haven Home for the past two years, where she was known for her caring nature. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Henry Bush, and her son, David Bush (April 14, 1993). She is survived by her daughter, Deb Hoerner of Grand Rapids, and three grandchildren: Nichole, David, and Brianna.
The service for Joyce will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at Second Reformed Church in Grand Haven with Rev. Kevin J. Jean officiating. Friends may meet the family 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Memorials to Second Reformed Church are appreciated.
