Joyce M. Cook's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce M. Cook, age 67, passed away Wednesday evening, March 11, 2009 in Muskegon. She was born December 28, 1941 to Albert and Doris (Dake) Bryant in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Joyce was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church. Throughout her life she was involved with many organizations and activities in the Muskegon area, but her biggest joy was her family. She married her husband George “Bud” on April 2, 1960 and he survives her along with 5 children, Thomas (Elizabeth) Cook of Columbia, TN, Joseph (Julie) Cook of Memphis, TN, Shelly (Jim) Way of Montague, Trudy (Bernie) Galdeen of Muskegon, Jeffrey (Dede) Cook of Muskegon; 14 grandchildren; 1 brother, James; 5 sisters, Joan, Pat, Hope, Linda, and Debbie. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her grandmother Rose Bryant whom she adored. SERVICE will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Fellowship Reformed Church, with Rev. Greg VanderMeer officiating. Burial will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery. VISITATION at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday.
