Juanita Marie Hansen's Obituary
Mrs. Juanita Marie “Nita” Hansen, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her home in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on February 10, 1928 to Perle Walter and Sarah (Martin) Bromley. Nita was employed by the Department of Social Services for 26 years prior to her retirement in 1988. She enjoyed needlework and was an avid reader. On October 19, 1946, Nita married Albert “Lyle” Hansen and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2009. She is survived by her sons, Brian Hansen and Barry Hansen; grandchildren, Matthew (Shawn) Hansen and Jennifer (Douglas) Hughes; great-grandchildren, Kateland Hansen, Christian (Francis) Hansen, and Brenna Hughes; great-great-grandchildren, Nolan and Posey; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Nita was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Luella Hansen; and siblings, Joseph Bromley, Virginia Sugarbaker, William Bromley, and Ardith “June” Scholten.
