Mrs. Juanita I. Ward's Obituary
Mrs. Juanita I. Ward, age 94, passed away on March 31, 2015. Juanita was born in Eureka Township on March 23, 1921 to Lester and Nellie Brown. She lived 31 years in California before moving to Las Vegas for 14 years. In 2007 she moved back to Muskegon but looked forward to her trips to Las Vegas. She sang with bands at clubs around Muskegon in the 1940’s. She will be deeply missed. Juanita is survived by her son, Gerald (Marcia) Chambers; grandsons, Jerry, Rick, and Daniel of California; nieces, Delores, Boren, Charlotte and Gloria. She was preceded in death by her husbands Vernon Johnson and Daniel Ward; daughter Susan; and granddaughter, Teresa. In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.
