Juanita Marie Wilson-Morris' Obituary
Juanita Marie Wison-Morris 89, of Muskegon, Michigan passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 5,1936, to Kenneth and Marie (Grimm) Wilson. She attended Muskegon High School until she married Arthur Morris and raised four children.
Anita enjoyed living in warm climates including Florida, Arizona, and Nevada. She also had a passion for adventure while living out West; especially searching out herds of wild Mustangs. She appreciated nature in all the various locations she explored in the United States. Anita was an avid reader who liked to buy books and shared her favorites with her friends and family. She took pleasure in spending time outside in the summer; tending to her beautiful flower garden, watching the birds play in her rose bushes, and picking wild berries wherever she could find them. Anita spent countless hours metal detecting and was thrilled to share her stories and show off her relics to anyone that would listen.
Juanita will be lovingly missed by her children: Michelle Morris of Montague, Kelly Morris of Charlevoix, Craig (Jenny) Morris of Plymouth, WI, and Carla Lameris of Grand Haven; her 10 grandchildren: Mark Stamper, Maya Stamper-Rademaker, Adam (Erin) Morris, Phil (Katie) Morris, Ben (Vivian) Morris, Sarah Morris, Matt Morris, Nicholas Miller, Jacob Miller, and Hannah Lameris; four great-grandchildren: Ellie Stamper, Kollin Rademaker, Alia Rademaker, and Braxten Rademaker; one great-great grandson: Colter Flanery; and her beloved surviving siblings; Jackie (Dale) Jones of White Cloud, MI (who was her dearest friend), Gail Rebecca Wilson of Grand Haven, MI, and Bruce Wilson of Muskegon, MI. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Morris, her parents, Kenneth and Marie Wilson, her sister Wanda Kay Wilson, her brothers Kenneth Wilson Jr., and Wayne Wilson.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to Harbor Hospice of Muskegon, MI.
