Juanita "Jane" Loera's Obituary
Mrs. Juanita “Jane” Loera, age 60, died Monday, August 2, 2004 at home with her family. She was born May 20, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant, MI to Bernadino and Lucy (Rivera) Arizola, and had resided in the Muskegon area since 1964. Mrs. Loera owned and operated the Flamingo Restaurant with her husband for 27 years. On July 31, 1964, she married Alvaro Loera in Grand Rapids, and just recently celebrated 40 years of marriage together. SURVIVORS include her son, Valentin (Francisca Garcia) Loera of Muskegon; 2 daughters, Anita Loera, Corrina Loera both of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Alec, Jaron, Jason, Eric, Mia, and Julian; 4 brothers, Cipriano Arizola, Frank (Margarita) Arizola, Julian (Tencha) Arizola, Jim R. (Berta) Arizola; 3 sisters, Maria (Frank) Ramos, Angelita Hernandez, Donna Barrientos; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Alfonso Loera on September 21, 2000; 2 brothers, Pete and Jesse Arizola; and 4 sisters, Rosa Rincones, Virginia Rincones, Lydia Martinez, and Grace Santos. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday at St. Jeans Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. James Wyse presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at
