Mrs. Judith K. Brandow's Obituary
Mrs. Judith K. Brandow, age 71, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at her home in Nunica, MI. She was born in Muskegon on July 13, 1942 to Lawrence C. and Arlene V. (Loosemore) Sweet. Mrs. Brandow had been a beautician at Dirksie Foster Care for 13 years before retiring in 1995. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. On January 30, 1965 she married Jack Brandow in Spring Lake, MI and he preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by four children, Regina Whelpley, Leah Hughey, Lee “Butch” (Cheryl) Brandow and Jacquelyn Chapman; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; her brother, Jerry (Fran) Sweet and her sister, Phyllis McDonald. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Vivian Collins. According to Mrs. Brandow’s wishes, no services will be held. MEMORIALS in her memory may be made to Hospice of North Ottawa.
